01. More of You

I am thirsty for You God
All I want is more of You
In this dry and weary land I’m crying out
You have promised lasting joy
Holy Spirit – more of You!
Let Your living waters flow within me now

Oh, how I love You
Oh, how I need You
Oh, how I love You
Oh, how I need You

Blessed are the pure in heart
All You want is all of me
Let Your fire consume this living sacrifice

You complete me, You amaze me
You delight me, You astound me
How you thrill me, captivate me
Fascinate me, overwhelm me
Overwhelm me, overwhelm me

02. Face of Flame

Face of flame, face of perfect beauty
Eyes of fire, piercing through my being
You’re inviting me in
Majesty, all-surpassing power
Robed in praise, on Your seat of splendour
How You captivate me

You’re glorious and Your glory
Will fill the earth and all will see
Light of the world You’re glorious

Show me Your glory
Show me Your glory

I am torn by this glimpse of beauty
A blinding light piercing through my being
And You beckon me in

You’re glorious and Your glory
Will fill the earth and all will see
Light of the world You’re glorious
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord God strong and mighty
You shine so bright, You’re glorious

You’re all I see, Your gaze on me
You’re all I have, oh
You’re all I see, Your gaze on me
You’re all I want, oh
Show me Your glory
Show me Your glory
Arise upon me
Arise upon me
Arise upon me

03. Nothing Can Separate

Light, You broke into our darkness
Love, You wrapped Your cords around us
Life, we know You in Your fullness
Death, where is your victory?
Death, where is your sting?

Nothing can separate us from the love of God
Nothing can separate us from the love of God

Truth, You freed us from our blindness
Mercy, how You have received us
Grace, You lifted us in weakness
Death, where is your victory?
Death, where is your sting?

We are more than conquerors
Through Him who loved us
We are more than conquerors
Through Him who loved us
We are more than conquerors
Through Him who loved us
We are more than conquerors
Through Him who loved us
We are more than conquerors

04. Watching Over You

The Lord is watching over you
The Lord is watching over you
The Lord is watching over you
The Lord is watching over you

May He bless you, keep you
May His face shine upon you
May He bless you, keep you
May the Lord be gracious to you

The Lord is watching over you
The Lord is watching over you

He will not sleep, He will not sleep
He’ll give you peace, He is watching over you
He’ll be your shade in the heat of the day
Your song will rise, let your song arise

Now and forevermore
The Lord is watching over you
Now and forevermore
The Lord is watching over you

The Lord is watching over you
The Lord is watching over you

05. Augustine’s Song

I came to love You too late
O Beauty, so ancient and immaculate
I searched the wide earth’s reach and go
But what of that grace did I know?
I could not look into my heart
Yet You were in me from the start
Careful, You had written me
But I could not read me in You

And I fought a crusade
To find Your path my way
With trouble standing in my shadow
Playing falsehood’s game
I searched for truth in vain
With trouble standing in my shadow

You called out and wept to me
And shattered the silence of my deafness
You lanced the cleansing rays at me
And sliced my blinding cataract
You drifted fragrant winds to me
I breathed in sacred delicacy
And I desired and trusted You
You touched me, now I burn for You

06. Lost and Broken

Muddied spring, polluted fountain
Broken city without walls
Is a righteous man turned wicked
Or one lacking self-control
I’d forgotten Your forgiveness
So short-sighted, I was blind
Need reminding of Your promise
I confess I’m paralysed

Lost and broken, give me Your word spoken, spoken
Lost and broken, give me doors that open, open

Praying prostrate in Your presence
Choosing meekness, cheeks now wet
Let my sorrow bring repentance
Full salvation, no regrets

From Your comfort and forgiveness
Broken walls will be restored
Forming diamonds from the ashes
Grace astounds me, praise is Yours

Worthy is the Lamb, seated on the throne
Worthy is the Lamb, who was and is, and is to come
Worthy of all praise, He was slain for us
Worthy to receive praise and honour, glory and power
Worthy is the Lamb, seated on the throne
Worthy is the Lamb who was and is, and is to come

[My chains are broken, sins forgiven
Heaven’s open, death is beaten, oh the freedom!
My chains are broken, my eyes are open
Sins forgiven, oh the freedom
Heaven’s open, the cross has spoken
Death is beaten, oh the freedom!]

07. Agape

O, my lover run away with me
Let us run, let us run
More to me than these things I hold dear
Is Your love, is Your love

You are perfect, I will worship
You are perfect, Agape

There is no one else whom I long for
Would You come? Would You come?
I’m calling out from the depths of my heart
For Your love, for Your love

O, my lover run away with me
Let us run, let us run
More to me than these things I hold dear
Is Your love, is Your love

08. No Treasure

No treasure in this world
No pleasure gained from sin
Compares to that which I’ve beheld in Him
His eyes of blazing fire
The beauty found therein
He has captured all desiring

My soul surrenders to You
Your will be done
My hope completely in You
You have won my heart

The marks upon His hands
Recount that ancient tale
He came to die and pay for our betrayal
Yet here He stands in power
The undefeated King
He has captured my desiring

09. Strangers

For endless ages: echoes of grace
Like waves come crashing on the shore
Each wave breaks stronger, every echo louder
As we discover, as we explore

Every day new revelations
Of the kingdom and of the King
Joy increasing, overflowing
Satisfying all desires

Can you taste it? Can you see it?
Joy unspoken, unspeakable
Now we see a dim reflection
Just imagine, how beautiful

There’s a river flowing freely
We will drink its full delights
There’ll be singing, wild abandon
Songs of wonder, roars of praise

Can you hear it? Have you heard it?
All creation celebrates
Come and join in adoration
Reckless worship, unrestrained
There’ll be colours undiscovered
Sweet aromas will fill the air
Newfound flavours, fresh encounters
Joy explosion, for He’ll be there

We are strangers on a distant shore
Waiting for our time to sail
Won’t be long now, He is coming

10. Seven Stars

See Him clothed in white
Eyes of fire, face burning bright
See Him standing there
In His hand: seven stars

Hear the waters roar
From his mouth, sharp comes the sword
Hear the trumpet call
In His hand: Hades’ keys

He is coming, He is coming
We will see Him, we will fear Him
He is coming on a cloud

See Him on the throne
In His hand: written scroll
Hear the angel cry
“Who is worthy to break the seal?”

He is coming, He is coming
We will see Him, we will fear Him
He is coming on a cloud

[Every eye will see Him
Even those who pierced Him
Every eye will see Him, Him]

Worthy is the Lamb
Who was slain, shed His blood
Worthy is the Lamb
All the glory, His alone

He is coming, He is coming
We will see Him, we will fear Him
He is coming, He is coming
We will see Him, we’ll be like Him
He is coming

[Every eye will see Him
Even those who pierced Him
Every eye will see Him, Him, Him
Every eye will see Him
Even those who pierced Him
Every eye will see Him, Him]

Worthy is the Lamb
Worthy is the Lamb
Worthy is the Lamb
All the glory, all the honour, all the praise
All the power, all the wisdom, all the strength
Is His alone

Great songs Chris. A lot of “meat” in your lyrics and full of God’s Word. Your music is gentle like a river flowing, bringing grace to the hearers. Glad I discovered it. Bill

Bill, thanks for stopping by and taking the time to leave some feedback. I’m encouraged! I’m also curious as to how you came across my music? I’m still trying to discover the best way to introduce it to new listeners. Please spread the word 🙂

Just listening now after your interview on UCB. First impressions are very good – your vocals remind me of Tim Freeman who sang with Frazier Chorus (secular music!) in the 1990s. I like the fact you can order the album and get the digital download while I wait. Really good idea. I think I should order it 🙂
